The interview process

In the UK you may apply for only one graduate role per academic year (Global Banking Coverage, Capital Markets or M&A, Global Markets, or Technology); extra applications are rejected automatically.

    Eligibility screen

    UK graduate roles: completing a degree in 2027 or graduated within the last two years (2025-2027), on track for a 2:1 or equivalent, fluent English.

    HR assessment (Global Banking Graduate Programme, EMEA)

    After the online application (recruitment starts about six months before the programme starts), candidates take individual interviews and group tests.

    Technical assessment (Global Banking Graduate Programme, EMEA)

    Interviews focused on technical topics, including case studies and question-and-answer rounds.

    Interviews with seniors (Global Banking Graduate Programme, EMEA)

    Motivation interviews with senior experts from the Investment Banking or Corporate Clients environment. BNP Paribas CIB publishes these four stages for the EMEA Global Banking graduate programme only; other programmes' stages and any online tests or video interviews are not published on the pages read.
