The interview process

  1. 1

    Application

    Official

Apply online through Evercore's campus application portals (evercore.tal.net, and SmartRecruiters pages for UK/Europe roles). Cover letters are required for campus applications. Campus programmes are limited to currently enrolled undergraduate and MBA students; recent graduates apply to entry-level roles instead. International students are welcome.

  2. 2

    Application limits and deadlines

    Official

Candidates can submit up to two applications per year. A withdrawn application still counts towards the limit. Late applications are not accepted because of volume.

  3. 3

    Application timing (UK/Europe)

    Official

UK/EU: the Europe and Asia page shows 2027 London graduate and summer roles with an application window of 31 August to 11 October 2026. The individual postings also say recruitment is on a rolling basis, so apply early.

  4. 4

    Interview selection

    Official

The recruiting team contacts shortlisted candidates, aiming to reply within a few weeks of the application depending on volume. After final-round selection, candidates who applied to two locations or roles must choose one.

  5. 5

    Interview preparation guidance

    Official

Evercore's own guidance covers preparation themes (know the industry and programme, follow financial news, be ready to tell your story and walk through your CV, practise mock interviews) and links to technical self-study resources. It does not state the number or format of interview rounds.

  6. 6

    Internship and conversion

    Official

UK summer internship: one week of technical and industry training, then placement in a sector team with feedback, a mid-point review and firm events. Full-time offers go to top performers. The Financial Sponsors Group off-cycle role states it has no direct conversion route.

  7. 7

    Graduate training (Europe)

    Official

Europe graduate programme: five weeks of technical and soft-skills training followed by two nine-month rotations over the first two years.
