The interview process

   PJT advises researching the firm and attending on-campus or virtual events, coffee chats and alumni conversations before applying.

   Application

   Official

   Apply through the PJT Partners Workday careers site with documents in PDF format. Summer analyst and associate programmes are generalist programmes with no team placement process at application.

   Suited assessment

   Official

   A Suited assessment (AI-powered, trait-based screening linked from the job description, same email as the application) is a required part of applying; PJT says it is not weighted more than other evaluation factors.

   Application timing (US)

   Official

   US: Summer Analyst applications generally open in spring of the year before the programme and close before summer. Summer Associate (MBA) applications open early fall and close in December.

   Application timing (Europe)

   Official

   Europe: Summer Analyst applications open in September of the prior year and close in October. Off-cycle applications open in winter for a September start or August for a January start. The 2027 London summer analyst posting set closing dates by school region: France 23 Sep, Nordics 27 Sep, DACH 1 Oct, UK and other 4 Oct, Italy 4 Oct, Ireland 6 Oct, Spain 11 Oct 2026.

   Official

   Asia: Summer Analyst applications open in September of the prior year and close in October (2027 Hong Kong posting closes 18 October 2026).

   Full-time analyst timing

   Official

   Global Full-Time Analyst and Associate programmes mostly hire from the summer internship class; extra candidates are occasionally hired. Applications are posted in early August with interviews in August and September.

   Eligibility

   Official

   US and Europe: penultimate-year students with one academic year left after the internship; in Europe recent graduates may also apply for internships. Visa sponsorship is handled case by case.

   Interview

   Official

   A structured interview process assessing aptitude, potential and cultural fit, with questions on broad industry understanding and interest, corporate finance fundamentals and behavioural competencies. PJT does not publish the number of rounds.

10. 10

    Offer and conversion

    Official

    Intern classes are sized to meet expected full-time headcount, and every intern is eligible for a full-time offer depending on performance.
