Students in a penultimate year are eligible for Summer Analyst programmes; summer internships are open to all post-secondary students. RBC says it does not prescribe a degree subject but wants a passion for capital markets.

Programme formats
OfficialCanada: RBC hires about 1,600 co-ops and summer interns a year across the enterprise. Co-op placements run 4-16 months; Summer Analyst programmes and internships run 14-16 weeks. Business areas include investment banking, fixed income origination, global markets, corporate banking, municipal finance and technology.
