   Fidelity Investments (US): application

   Apply in the fall of sophomore or junior year (mid-September through mid-October); one application is considered for all internship skill areas, then resume review. Asset management internships follow their own timelines (Fall 2026 for London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, MBA and quantitative research; Winter or Spring 2027 for Boston equity research, fixed income, direct lending and Strategic Advisers).

2. 2

   Fidelity Investments (US): phone call and interviews

   Selected students have an initial phone call with a recruiter; if the skills and experience match, they are invited to interview. Interviews run on a rolling basis and internship hiring aims to finish by January. Early interviews are mostly behaviour-based (Fidelity recommends the STAR method).

3. 3

   Fidelity Investments (US): selection and offer

   Fidelity makes intern selections and offers; students are encouraged to apply to only one Fidelity internship in the window.

   Fidelity International: online application

   Short online form with an up-to-date CV.

   Fidelity International: online assessment

   Automatically invited on submitting the application; must be completed within five days (or sooner near the deadline); a combination of cognitive assessments and/or a personality questionnaire taking 20 to 30 minutes.

   Fidelity International: video interview

   First-round video interview; for the Spring Insight Programme it is about 15 minutes with three to four strengths-based questions, to be recorded within five days of the invitation.

7. 7

   Fidelity International: assessment centre

   A mix of technical, commercial and motivational interviews and a technical case study exercise (internships: technical, commercial and motivational activities and a case study); stand out at the assessment centre to be offered a place. MBA internship offers allow two weeks to decide.
